About Almanor Log Homes

Jerry and Lea own Almanor Log Homes. They both grew up in the Midwest (Nebraska and Colorado) and are elated to be back in a small community where they are enjoying the beauty of the outdoors, hiking, golfing and fishing.  Lea worked 18 years with a major retailer as an office manager, and Jerry was an appliance representative for 15 years with major manufacturers (G.E. and Frigidaire).  He was offered a position as a National Sales rep and  opened his own Insurance Agency/Home Financing office for 15 years, where he offered various insurance coverage and home financing to his clients.

Lea and Jerry have built several homes. They decided to build a log home in Northern California in 2004, and they joined the CNW Log Homes of America family in 2009. They returned to their roots in Midwest in 2010, where they look forward to sharing their love of the log home lifestyle with customers in the Midwest.
